Rancho San Diego Pool Service is a San Diego based small business dedicated to providing county wide residential
and commercial swimming pool service and repairs. When I established this business back in 1997 I decided to make sure to do the kind of work I would want if I were a service consumer.
Now, ten years later I still leave each task with a glance back accross my shoulder and ask myself this question... Did I do a great job? Did I forget anything? When Mr. or Mrs. Backyard pool owner arrives home from their job will they appreciate my work?
Well, there are some tasks you can't see that are sort of inside my service program sphere.

| Next time you go to your local supermarket, think about how things and products have changed over the last ten years.
Now think about how advances in chemical engineering have changed the pool business.
We now have access to what amounts to much more control over what is happening in your pool water on a chemical or microscopic level!
We even have a chemical treatment that behaves just like a pool cover and creates the very same thermal qualities we want a cover to exhibit! I'm amazed!

Why pool service works is the question! Well, if your work takes you away from your home each day like most people you are probably tired when you get home.
Judging by how I feel when I get home from work I would say it's a pretty safe bet that you are not going to rush right out to your backyard pool and start brushing the walls.
The truth is that most people don't have the knowledge base to understand the peremptory science of water balancing.
Water is the most receptive of the four elements. This means your pool is always changing and needs to be monitored on a regular service basis.
Just as our bodies consist of 90% water and need regular attention in the form of nutrition and exercise!
Being an IPSSA, UPA or ASAPP member provides your pool service tech with a world of information!
Continuing education these days is not just an opportunity, it's a must!
Each year there are new and better, safer and more healthy ways for us to serve you in order to make your pool continue to sparkle like diamonds in the morning sun!
So if your thinking about hiring a pool professional or perhaps changing from your current pool service provider, be sure to ask about membership in IPSSA, UPA or ASAPP.
Be sure to ask about the service companies liability insurance. Ask if the company has a Contractors License. Ask about knowledge of water balancing and hydraulics.
As a pool owner you deserve the best!
By learning more about what is available you can get the best!
